Born in central western New South Wales and surrounded by a variety of animals, from the majestic to the reptilian, Geordie developed a lifelong love for nature and wildlife. Now a proud “pawrent” to two beautiful cats and a lizard named Scales, she brings a nurturing spirit to both her personal and professional life.
With seven years of experience in office and space management, Geordie excels at creating welcoming environments for both People and Animals. When she isn’t at the Clinic, you can often find her exploring the bush, relaxing on the beach, or tending to her garden, where she finds inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors.
Lara Gonzalez
Customer Happiness Representative/Junior Vet Nurse Intern
Dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of animals and their owners, Lara’s deep-seated commitment to animal care grew from her many years of fostering animals.
Lara is currently pursuing a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE, while also volunteering at a shelter on the weekend, supporting animals that are in need until they find their forever homes.
In her free time, Lara indulges in her creative passions that involve reading, digital art/game design and baking. At home, she shares her life with her two senior cats, Fluffy and Sapphire.
Mia Culpin
Customer Happiness Representative
Mia is a passionate veterinary student with a deep love for animals, especially big cats. Her own furry companion, a cavoodle named Ponyo, keeps her company as she balances her studies and interests.
Mia is an avid chef who enjoys experimenting with new recipes and perfecting her favourite dishes. When she’s not in the kitchen, she can be found at the gym, learning to play the bass guitar, spending time outdoors, or unwinding with an iced matcha latte.
Dr. Charis Hii
Veterinarian
Dr. Charis started her veterinary career at My Vet Animal Hospital Waterloo in 2017. Since then, she’s completed a rotating internship and has worked in telemedicine as well as emergency and critical care. Her time in further training has helped her appreciate the value of preventative medicine, so she’s always happy to explain the how’s and why’s of veterinary medicine. She’s a proud nerd (and geek) who loves dabbling in a bit of everything. On an average day, you’ll find her down the rabbit hole of a new hobby and snuggling her two cats.

Jade Neo
Doggy Daycare Attendant
Growing up in Malaysia surrounded by a variety of pets, ranging from dogs and cats to chickens and hedgehogs, has made Jade a passionate animal lover. Despite graduating as an advertising and social media marketing student, her true devotion lies with animals. Inspired by her veterinarian cousin, Jade has embarked on a new path that aligns with her lifelong dream. In 2023, she found herself in Sydney, immersed in a world filled with animals.
In her leisure time, Jade enjoys socialising with people and engaging in outdoor adventures. Not to be overlooked is her affection for cuddling with all kinds of animals, particularly her cherished pets back home!
Jade can speak fluent Mandarin, Hokkien, Malay and English.
Wendy Lai
Customer Happiness Representative/Veterinary Nurse Intern
Since she was young, Wendy has harboured a deep affection for animals. This passion has led her to pursue a career in veterinary nursing and is currently studying at TAFE. Despite her fondness for dogs and cats of all breeds, Wendy holds a special affection for Japanese Spitz’s, owning a dog named Princess herself.
Outside of work, Wendy has a love for travelling and dreams to travel around the world someday. She is eager to hear about the places you’ve explored and would greatly appreciate any recommendations you might have!

Stefi Marifosque
Customer Happiness Representative/Junior Veterinary Nurse
Stefi hails from the Philippines and graduated from the University of the Philippines Los Baños with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. In 2023, she arrived in Australia with a commitment to animal health, working towards her postgraduate degree in Conservation Biology and Environment. Fueled by matcha, she studies while working as a veterinary nurse at MyVet Animal Hospital. On weekends, she enjoys catching up with friends and making progress on her extensive reading list!
Dekster del Pilar
Customer Happiness Representative
Deksther was born on the islands and raised by the seas in the Philippines. He grew up on a coconut farm surrounded by farm animals and his adopted dogs and cats. In 2022, he graduated from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture with a Veterinary Medicine degree. He worked in a small animal clinic as a veterinarian for one year before coming to Australia to study for his postgraduate degree. Currently, he is studying for his Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology at UTS. His interests are animal health and medical research, and he plans to work in vaccine development. He loves spending time on the beach, hiking, and reading books in his free time. Also, he is a freediver in training!

Jasmine Everett

Jasmine has always felt a strong bond with animals, especially dogs, having grown up with them as cherished companions. This early connection to caring for and comprehending the needs of animals ignited her passion for animal welfare. Currently, she is dedicated to furthering her studies in Veterinary Nurse Animal Care to be a veterinary nurse.
In her leisure hours, Jasmine takes pleasure in listening to music and spending quality time with her loved ones. Additionally, she finds joy in pursuits such as makeup and baking. Whenever she has a free weekend, she makes a point to drive up the coast to visit her dad and her pet dog, Tilley.

Stella Noll
Customer Happiness Representative
Stella grew up obsessed with watching Animal Planet, Nat Geo Wild, and anything David Attenborough. Her idol was Steve Irwin, and even named her first pet ever after him. She went on to study Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Sydney, where she worked closely with domestic, livestock, and wildlife. Having worked in retail and customer service for the past 6 years, this role was a perfect mix of customer care and furry friends prior to returning to postgraduate study.

Since moving to Australia from the Philippines in 2017, Elijah has wanted to do nothing but pursue a career involving animals, resulting in his internship at My Vet. He was enabled as a child to explore his interests, leading him to foster a love for animals; he has experience handling pets both domestic and exotic – from dogs and cats to hedgehogs and tarantulas! He is currently doing a Certificate II in Animal Studies course at TAFE and plans to begin university studies in 2023 towards becoming a veterinarian.
Elijah loves listening to music and is a crazy sneakerhead, but not as much as he loves to FaceTime his pets in the Philippines!
Natasha Anthoniel
Veterinary Nurse Intern/Vet Student
Having grown up in Indonesia, Singapore and Australia, Natasha has been surrounded by various animals since young. Together with her experience volunteering in farms, shelters and rescues, her fascination towards both animals and medicine grew. This led towards her decision to become a vet. She is currently undertaking the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in University of Sydney where she has continuously explored the wondrous world of animals!
Natasha also always makes time for other fun activities. During her free time, you can find her trying to fix the failed bread she baked, or gardening away.
Katherine Sumantri
Veterinary Nurse Intern
First landed in Australia in 2020 as a design and game development student, but took a break and spent time back home in Indonesia after her first year. During that time she reconnected with her pets (specifically a hamster named Van Gogh), volunteered in small animal rescues and also spent time fostering cats before deciding that was where her heart truly lies. Now back with a new dream, she’s enrolling into TAFE for her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. After hours, you can find her reading tear jerking novels with her cat Bread Baker curled on her lap, face-timing her ol’grumpy cat, Latte back home, or testing out new recipes with her rats sitting on her head – ratatouille style.

Lincoln Tong

Veterinary Nurse Intern/Vet Student
Lincoln loved spending his weekends at animal theme parks and the goldfish market in Hong Kong when he was growing up. With that interest in mind, he arrived in Australia to experience its vast and unique biodiversity. He is currently completing his Honours degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Sydney, and hopes to enrol in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to pursue his dreams of becoming a Vet. Before joining the My Vet team, he had handled all types of animals on different occasions, including alpacas, cattle, snakes, and even in a lab with insect specimens!
In his free time, Lincoln enjoys all types of outdoor activities ranging from hiking to scuba-diving. He also enjoys venturing out into different suburbs of Sydney and locating its best attractions. Although his cat Bean is back in Hong Kong, he would love to share pictures of his fat cat!

Matt Chui
Veterinary Nurse Intern/Vet Student
Matthew grew up in an animal-loving family in Hong Kong, which gave him the idea to contribute and make the world a better place for our furry and scaly friends. In 2017, he moved to Sydney to pursue his studies to become a veterinarian at the University of Sydney. Before joining My Vet, he worked in a small animal vet clinic in Hong Kong to develop his knowledge and clinical experience.
Matthew loves watching and playing football (or soccer), you will often find him playing football in his free time. So the next time you see him in a match, just come say hi and go easy on him:).

Irene Kazamias
Veterinary Nurse
Irene is finishing up her final months of her Veterinary Nursing course at TAFE and will become a qualified veterinary nurse this year! Already having experience in the industry, she is very excited to start her career as a Veterinary Nurse. Irene grew up around lots of different animals and now spends her time at home with her dog Kiera.
Irene loves animals of all shapes and sizes but especially large breed dogs like Rottweilers and German Shepherds!
Dr. Yuki Chan
Veterinarian
Dr. Yuki travelled to Australia from Hong Kong in 2016 to pursue her dreams of becoming a vet. She initially joined the My Vet team as a weekend nurse to gain practical experience in 2018 and re-joined the team as a veterinarian after she graduated from the University of Sydney. When she’s not working, you can find her catexploring with her adventurous cat Eubie or chilling at home with her floofy cats, Tomoya, Hajime and Haku. She also enjoys pet photography and going to the pottery studio to be creative in her free time.

Dr Natalia Troncoso
Veterinarian
Dr Natalia was born in Santiago, Chile and grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, which ended up triggering her passion for small animals. She graduated as a vet from The University of Chile and then continued her studies in Small Animal Medicine at the same university. She worked as a vet for nearly two years before moving to Sydney in 2016.
Upon arrival in Australia Natalia started working as a vet nurse while she was preparing for the Australian Veterinary Association exam to obtain her vet qualification in the country. After a lot of hard work and passing all the exams required, she achieved Australian registration in 2022.
Outside work, Natalia enjoys reading, baking, eating snacks while watching trash TV shows and hanging out with her rescue cat Banjo. She’s also recently decided to start roller skating as an attempt to try some outdoor hobbies.
Dr Natalia can speak fluent Spanish and English.
Dr. Cherlene Lee
Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Cherlene Lee grew up surrounded by animals and wanting to change their lives for the better. She moved to Sydney from Malaysia to pursue her veterinary studies at the University of Sydney. Upon graduation in 2008, she expanded her knowledge and gained experience by working at different veterinary hospitals in NSW. Inspired by the importance of client education and the vet-animal bond, she sought to found a practice dedicated to empowering every paw-parent to be the best paw-parent they can be. This dream became a reality and My Vet Animal Hospital opened its doors in March 2014.
Cherlene is dedicated to making My Vet more than just a vet hospital by giving back to the community through the Pledge 1% movement and hosting regular events (or “Pawty” as we like to call it) to celebrate pet ownership. She also has a very strong interest in internal medicine and nutrition. The loves of Cherlene’s life are her two rescue furbabies: Siao Chu and Chairman Mao.
Dr Cherlene can speak fluent Mandarin, English, Hokkien and Malay. She is currently learning Korean too!
Dr. Jessica Ha
Head Vet/Veterinarian
Dr. Jess graduated from the University of Sydney and for as long as she can remember, she has always wanted to become a vet. She was committed to this dream and excelled in her academic achievements, receiving the Premier’s Award for All-Round Excellence. During her studies, she has worked in veterinary clinics and childcare centres, and has even juggled both animals and children at the same time with a mobile petting farm job. She understands just how important the human-animal bond is for people of all ages. She currently has a special interest in surgery.
Dr. Jess developed a love for adventure and strong leadership skills as a member of the Australian Army Cadets and continues to stay involved by volunteering at her high school unit and mentoring cadets at their annual field exercises. She is also a very active person, loves hiking and trying new sports, and can often be found playing volleyball and badminton multiple times a week.
Jess is currently looking for her first pet away from home, so she is all ears to learn about how your fur-baby came into your life and why they are the best breed to have!

Dr. Adrian Dam
Veterinarian, Partner
Dr. Adrian has always been fascinated with animals since a young age and definitely has watched his fair share of David Attenborough documentaries. After completing high school with a Principal’s Letter of Recommendation, he pursued his interest in animals and science and completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology / Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. As a strong advocate for ensuring all animals are able to receive the veterinary attention they deserve, he was an active participant in multiple charity drives throughout his studies and plans to continue doing so throughout his career.
He has a particular interest in internal medicine and appreciates the problem-solving required in particularly complex cases. He strives to always apply the most current knowledge to ensure all his patients receive the best standard of care.
In his spare time, he loves trying new cuisines, playing competitive basketball, and going on adventures with his new puppy Putty!
Dr. Jess Choong
Veterinarian
After completing a combined Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering/Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honors in 2013, Dr. Jess realised her true passion was to be a vet. She applied for a vet nurse internship with My Vet Animal Hospital and worked as a nurse from 2014-2017 whilst undertaking her veterinary studies. She graduated with a distinction average from the University of Sydney with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the end of 2019, receiving an award for academic excellence in her second year.
After graduating, Dr. Jess had an interest in mixed practice and worked in Dubbo from 2020-2021, working with dogs, cats, horses, and cows. During her time in Dubbo, she developed an interest in surgery but also was involved with many complicated medical cases. She has continued to learn even after finishing uni; most recently, she attended a conference on managing behaviour in pets and has been trying to help clients better understand certain behavioural aspects of their furbabies.
After working in an extremely busy rural practice, Jess has returned to Sydney and My Vet Animal Hospital, where she wants to really focus on tailored high-quality veterinary care, helping to educate clients as much as possible, and pursuing further knowledge and training.
In her spare time, Jess loves to go to the gym, take dancing classes and spend as much time as possible cuddling her Persian furbabies, Laith and Luna.
Dr. Vanessa Ng
Veterinarian
Dr. Vanessa has always been fascinated by animals and has aspired to care for them for long as she can remember. At the age of 17, she left Malaysia to pursue her dream of becoming a world-class veterinarian. She is always on the lookout for animals in need and strives to give back to her community through veterinary means.
Dr. Vanessa loves her furry patients and has a strong passion for client education and soft-tissue surgery. She staunchly advocates for those animals she looks after and loves to work alongside her clients to provide the best possible care.
In her spare time, she immerses herself in Mother Nature and the outdoors. You will find her on hikes, snorkeling off reefs, and surfing at the beach on her days off. She is currently teaching her dog Nala how to kayak! Or, more specifically, how to be a good kayak passenger.
Bao Chau Vuong
Senior Head Nurse
Born in Vietnam but raised in French-speaking Canada, Bao would happily chat about Vietnamese food in French. Bao had spent more than a decade nursing in Canada before finally visiting Australia and falling in love with our little My Vet family. Bao worked in numerous 24hour emergency vet hospitals in Sydney and gained a wealth of experience, before settling here at My Vet. She decided that small practice GP was her true calling because she could really bond with clients and pets, making a big difference in their lives. Bao is known to have a magic touch that calms down any animal that needs extra attention. We call her the dog and cat whisperer here at the vet hospital! She is obsessed with Chihuahuas, Pomeranians and Cavaliers! She loves food, board games, k-drama and spending time with her friends. If you find any good poutine places in Sydney please let her know!

Crystal Leigh
Senior Vet Nurse
At a young age, Crystal found her love for animals as she grew up surrounded by animals big and small – from having pet mice, bunnies, fish, and cats to her two 80Kg St Bernard’s that she adores! Crystal started out as a vet nurse intern, and through her fast learning, hard work, and dedication, she became a valuable team member of My Vet.
Crystal only has 1 more semester left with her Vet Nursing course and is very excited to graduate in July 2020 this year (she is top of her class!). She is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge so that she can treat all your furbabies to the best of her ability! She has a special interest in dental care and animal welfare.
Crystal always makes sure that all animals receive the best care and treatment that they should get at My Vet and treat every furbaby that walks through the door like royalty!
Michelle Ogoshi
Vet Nurse
Born and raised in Brazil, Michelle came to Australia 9 years ago for work and to improve her English. Michelle has been working as a chef for the past 12 years but is now undertaking a career change to work with animals. She has always loved animals but never had the opportunity to study them back home. She absolutely loves dogs! Back home, she had two poodles, so she is particularly fond of all the “oodle” breeds. She is currently studying a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE and is enjoying applying all her skills and knowledge here as a vet nurse. While she doesn’t have any pets of her own here, she has unwittingly developed a big soft spot for her flatmate’s cats and discovered a love for cats. In her free time, she loves spending time outside and enjoys going to the beach.
Querida Bromley
Veterinary Nurse
Querida grew up here in Sydney; she has always loved animals of all kinds and always wanted to work with them. With ten years in the hospitality industry, she decided to pursue her passion and venture into the animal world, starting with volunteering at an animal shelter. She’s currently studying her cert IV vet nursing and will be a fully qualified vet nurse in no time.
Querida loves playing with her new kitten Gremlin and watching him learn from his older feline brother Dennis. When she’s not pet sitting getting all those puppy cuddles, she loves to sunbathe with her bearded dragon Mr. Pickles.

Siao Chu
Canine Marketing Officer
Siao Chu is our Canine Marketing Officer and was part of the original founding members of My Vet. You’ll often see his handsome (and sleepy) face featured in many of My Vet’s posts, videos, signs and stickers! Besides being a star and model, his other important roles include inspecting the consult rooms for any leftover treats and keeping a watchful eye over the staff as he does his rounds through the clinic.
