Stella Noll
Customer Happiness Representative
Stella grew up obsessed with watching Animal Planet, Nat Geo Wild, and anything David Attenborough. Her idol was Steve Irwin, and even named her first pet ever after him. She went on to study Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Sydney, where she worked closely with domestic, livestock, and wildlife. Having worked in retail and customer service for the past 6 years, this role was a perfect mix of customer care and furry friends prior to returning to postgraduate study.
Elijah Pelaez
Veterinary Nurse Intern
Since moving to Australia from the Philippines in 2017, Elijah has wanted to do nothing but pursue a career involving animals, resulting in his internship at My Vet. He was enabled as a child to explore his interests, leading him to foster a love for animals; he has experience handling pets, both domestic and exotic -from dogs and cats to hedgehogs and tarantulas! He is currently doing a Certificate II in Animal Studies course at TAFE and plans to begin university studies in 2023 toward becoming a veterinarian.
Elijah loves listening to music and is a crazy sneakerhead, but not as much as he loves to FaceTime his pets in the Philippines!
Natasha Anthoniel
Veterinary Nurse Intern/Vet Student
Having grown up in Indonesia, Singapore and Australia, Natasha has been surrounded by various animals since she was young. Together with her experience volunteering in farms, shelters, and rescues, her fascination towards both animals and medicine grew. This led towards her decision to become a vet. She is currently undertaking the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the University of Sydney, where she has continuously explored the wondrous world of animals!
Natasha also always makes time for other fun activities. During her free time, you can find her trying to fix the failed bread she baked or gardening away.
Lincoln Tong
Veterinary Nurse Intern/Vet Student
Lincoln loved spending his weekends at animal theme parks and the goldfish market in Hong Kong when he was growing up. With that interest in mind, he arrived in Australia to experience its vast and unique biodiversity. He is currently completing his Honours degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Sydney and hopes to enroll in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to pursue his dreams of becoming a Vet. Before joining the My Vet team, he had handled all types of animals on different occasions, including alpacas, cattle, snakes, and even in a lab with insect specimens!
In his free time, Lincoln enjoys all types of outdoor activities ranging from hiking to scuba diving. He also enjoys venturing out into different suburbs of Sydney and locating its best attractions. Although his cat Bean is back in Hong Kong, he would love to share pictures of his fat cat!
Matt Chui
Veterinary Nurse Intern/Vet Student
Matthew grew up in an animal-loving family in Hong Kong, which gave him the idea to contribute and make the world a better place for our furry and scaly friends. In 2017, he moved to Sydney to pursue his studies to become a veterinarian at the University of Sydney. Before joining My Vet, he worked in a small animal vet clinic in Hong Kong to develop his knowledge and clinical experience.
Matthew loves watching and playing football (or soccer); you will often find him playing football in his free time. So the next time you see him in a match, just come say hi and go easy on him:).
Irene Kazamias
Veterinary Nurse/Intern
Irene is finishing up her final months of her Veterinary Nursing course at TAFE and will become a qualified veterinary nurse next year! Already having experience in the industry, she is very excited to start her career as a Veterinary Nurse. Irene grew up around lots of different animals and now spends her time at home with her dog Kiera.
Irene loves animals of all shapes and sizes but especially large breed dogs like Rottweilers and German Shepherds!

Dr. Cherlene Lee
Veterinarian, Director
Dr. Cherlene Lee grew up surrounded by animals and wanted to change their lives for the better. She moved to Sydney from Malaysia to pursue her veterinary studies at the University of Sydney. Upon graduation, she expanded her knowledge and gained experience by working at different veterinary hospitals. Inspired by the importance of client education and the vet-animal bond, she sought to found a practice dedicated to empowering every paw-parent to be the best paw-parent they can be. This dream became a reality and My Vet Animal Hospital opened its doors in March 2014.
Cherlene is dedicated to making My Vet more than just a vet hospital by giving back to the community through the Pledge 1% movement and hosting regular events (or “Pawty” as we like to call it) to celebrate pet ownership. She also has a very strong interest in nutrition. The loves of Cherlene’s life are her two rescue furbabies: Siao Chu and Chairman Mao.
Dr. Jessica Ha
Veterinarian
Dr. Jess graduated from the University of Sydney and for as long as she can remember, she has always wanted to become a vet. She was committed to this dream and excelled in her academic achievements, receiving the Premier’s Award for All-Round Excellence. During her studies, she has worked in veterinary clinics and childcare centres, and has even juggled both animals and children at the same time with a mobile petting farm job. She understands just how important the human-animal bond is for people of all ages. She currently has a special interest in surgery.
Dr. Jess developed a love for adventure and strong leadership skills as a member of the Australian Army Cadets and continues to stay involved by volunteering at her high school unit and mentoring cadets at their annual field exercises. She is also a very active person, loves hiking and trying new sports, and can often be found playing volleyball and badminton multiple times a week.
Jess is currently looking for her first pet away from home, so she is all ears to learn about how your fur-baby came into your life and why they are the best breed to have!
Dr. Adrian Dam
Veterinarian, Partner
Dr. Adrian has always been fascinated with animals since a young age and definitely has watched his fair share of David Attenborough documentaries. After completing high school with a Principal’s Letter of Recommendation, he pursued his interest in animals and science and completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology / Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. As a strong advocate for ensuring all animals are able to receive the veterinary attention they deserve, he was an active participant in multiple charity drives throughout his studies and plans to continue doing so throughout his career.
He has a particular interest in internal medicine and appreciates the problem-solving required in particularly complex cases. He strives to always apply the most current knowledge to ensure all his patients receive the best standard of care.
In his spare time, he loves trying new cuisines, playing competitive basketball, and going on adventures with his new puppy Putty!
Dr. Jess Choong
Veterinarian
After completing a combined Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering/Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honors in 2013, Dr. Jess realised her true passion was to be a vet. She applied for a vet nurse internship with My Vet Animal Hospital and worked as a nurse from 2014-2017 whilst undertaking her veterinary studies. She graduated with a distinction average from the University of Sydney with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the end of 2019, receiving an award for academic excellence in her second year.
After graduating, Dr. Jess had an interest in mixed practice and worked in Dubbo from 2020-2021, working with dogs, cats, horses, and cows. During her time in Dubbo, she developed an interest in surgery but also was involved with many complicated medical cases. She has continued to learn even after finishing uni; most recently, she attended a conference on managing behaviour in pets and has been trying to help clients better understand certain behavioural aspects of their furbabies.
After working in an extremely busy rural practice, Jess has returned to Sydney and My Vet Animal Hospital, where she wants to really focus on tailored high-quality veterinary care, helping to educate clients as much as possible, and pursuing further knowledge and training.
In her spare time, Jess loves to go to the gym, take dancing classes and spend as much time as possible cuddling her Persian furbabies, Laith and Luna.
Dr. Vanessa Ng
Veterinarian
Dr. Vanessa has always been fascinated by animals and has aspired to care for them for long as she can remember. At the age of 17, she left Malaysia to pursue her dream of becoming a world-class veterinarian. She is always on the lookout for animals in need and strives to give back to her community through veterinary means.
Dr. Vanessa loves her furry patients and has a strong passion for client education and soft-tissue surgery. She staunchly advocates for those animals she looks after and loves to work alongside her clients to provide the best possible care.
In her spare time, she immerses herself in Mother Nature and the outdoors. You will find her on hikes, snorkeling off reefs, and surfing at the beach on her days off. She is currently teaching her dog Nala how to kayak! Or, more specifically, how to be a good kayak passenger.
Bao Chau Vuong
Head Vet Nurse
Have you met Bao? Born in Vietnam but raised in French-speaking Canada, she would happily chatter about Vietnamese food in French. Bao had spent more than a decade nursing in Canada before finally visiting Australia and falling in love with our little My Vet family. She brings with her a breadth of experience, having worked in a variety of practices, including emergency hospitals. While she loves food, she loves being active all the more! She practices Muay Thai and jiujitsu, plays volleyball, and loves hiking. Bao misses her rescued furbabies, Killah and Rambo, who are still in Canada, and presently spends all her time spoiling Mr. Pebbles.
Crystal Leigh
Senior Vet Nurse
At a young age, Crystal found her love for animals as she grew up surrounded by animals big and small – from having pet mice, bunnies, fish, and cats to her two 80Kg St Bernard’s that she adores! Crystal started out as a vet nurse intern, and through her fast learning, hard work, and dedication, she became a valuable team member of My Vet.
Crystal only has 1 more semester left with her Vet Nursing course and is very excited to graduate in July 2020 this year (she is top of her class!). She is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge so that she can treat all your furbabies to the best of her ability! She has a special interest in dental care and animal welfare.
Crystal always makes sure that all animals receive the best care and treatment that they should get at My Vet and treat every furbaby that walks through the door like royalty!
Rhiannon Dunley
Senior Vet Nurse
Nurse Rhiannon, or Nurse Rhi Rhi as we like to call her, started out as a vet nurse intern at My Vet and is now slowly turning into a super nurse! She is currently finishing up her last year of TAFE Vet Nursing and will be a qualified Vet Nurse by the end of the year! Rhiannon has always had an interest and love for animals of all shapes and sizes but only realised in her final year of high school that she wanted to become a Vet Nurse. She has two dogs at home, Domino, Halle, and one cat, Khoda, who she loves dearly! When she isn’t at the clinic, you can find her at Oztag, at home relaxing with her animals or hanging around her friends. Nurse Rhi Rhi loves all the animals, big and small, who come through the clinic, always making sure they get all her love and affection!!
Michelle Ogoshi
Vet Nurse
Born and raised in Brazil, Michelle came to Australia 9 years ago for work and to improve her English. Michelle has been working as a chef for the past 12 years but is now undertaking a career change to work with animals. She has always loved animals but never had the opportunity to study them back home. She absolutely loves dogs! Back home, she had two poodles, so she is particularly fond of all the “oodle” breeds. She is currently studying a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE and is enjoying applying all her skills and knowledge here as a vet nurse. While she doesn’t have any pets of her own here, she has unwittingly developed a big soft spot for her flatmate’s cats and discovered a love for cats. In her free time, she loves spending time outside and enjoys going to the beach.
Latisha Hopkins
Customer Happiness Representative
Latisha has always had a strong connection with animals. Growing up surrounded by farm animals, she found animal care most rewarding, so much so that she volunteered and undertook studies at Taronga Zoo to learn more about work with furry, feathery, and scaly friends, big and small.
With a long-standing background in retail and customer service, Latisha has combined her passion for animals and quality customer care here at My Vet. In her spare time, she loves to paint animal portraits under the watchful eye of her furry companion, Lilith, the cat.
Querida Bromley
Veterinary Nurse
Querida grew up here in Sydney; she has always loved animals of all kinds and always wanted to work with them. With ten years in the hospitality industry, she decided to pursue her passion and venture into the animal world, starting with volunteering at an animal shelter. She’s currently studying her cert IV vet nursing and will be a fully qualified vet nurse in no time.
Querida loves playing with her new kitten Gremlin and watching him learn from his older feline brother Dennis. When she’s not pet sitting and getting all those puppy cuddles, she loves to sunbathe with her bearded dragon Mr. Pickles.

Siao Chu is our Canine Marketing Officer and was part of the original founding members of My Vet. You’ll often see his handsome (and sleepy) face featured in many of My Vet’s posts, videos, signs, and stickers! Besides being a star and model, his other important roles include inspecting the consult rooms for any leftover treats and keeping a watchful eye over the staff as he does his rounds through the clinic.
