Pet Diagnostic Imaging
in Zetland, NSW

Quick diagnostics lead to quick treatments. We have the latest in radiography and ultrasonography at our disposal. These imaging modalities in tandem with our in-house laboratory, provide us a window into your furbaby’s well-being.

Digital Radiography (X-Ray)

A radiograph (X-ray) is a type of photograph that looks inside the body and reveals information that may not be discernible from the outside. Radiography can be used to evaluate your pet’s internal organs like the heart, lungs, abdominal organs, and bones. When it comes to accurately diagnosing your pet, radiology can be an extremely valuable tool in our diagnostic arsenal.

Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography, or ultrasound, is a diagnostic imaging technique similar to radiography (X-rays) and is often used in conjunction with radiography and other diagnostics. It allows us to visualise certain organs very thoroughly, including the heart, kidneys, liver, gallbladder, bladder, spleen, and intestines. It can also be useful to detect and monitor pregnancy. We work closely with specialists – people who have dedicated their entire lives to imaging – so you get the most out of this fantastic diagnostic tool.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a fantastic minimally-invasive tool that helps us diagnose problems. It helps us visualise tight spots (like in the nose) and hidden areas (like the stomach). While scoping, we can also take biopsies, which can help with tricky cases. Endoscopy also helps us solve problems! If your dog has eaten something funny, if it’s still in the stomach, we can try removing it via endoscopy instead of having to perform a big surgery. The best part? The endoscopy is performed by Dr. Karina Graham, a specialist in internal medicine, so you know your furbaby is in capable hands.
