Dr. Cherlene Lee

Dr. Cherlene Lee

Veterinarian/Owner

Originally from Malaysia, Dr. Cherlene Lee grew up surrounded by animals and wanting to change their lives for the better. She moved to Sydney to pursue her veterinary studies at University of Sydney. Upon graduation, she expanded her knowledge base and experience by working at different veterinary hospitals. Cherlene felt that client education and the human-animal bond were lacking or none existent at most practices and this is what motivated her to start her own practice in March 2014.

My Vet Animal Hospital is a modern, purpose built veterinary clinic that has a strong focus on customer service and empowering pet owners to be the best pet parent they can be. Built to look nothing like your standard vet hospital , with it’s unique decor and large windows that allow a lot of natural light in, you can’t help but enjoy it’s invitingly warm atmosphere.

Cherlene is dedicated to making My Vet more than just a vet hospital by giving back to the community through the Pledge 1% movement and hosting regular events (or “Pawty” as we like to call it) to celebrate pet ownership.

My Vet Animal Hospital is not only a modern facility, but we have an ever expanding team of dedicated and pawesome veterinarians and nurses, who strive for the best care for each and every furbaby who walks through the door!

Dr. Charis

Dr. Charis

Veterinarian

Dr. Charis is known for being the over-enthusiastic nerd who finds everything interesting. She’s lost both her furbabies in recent years, so she spends all her love on…everyone else, human and furbaby alike. Her interests lie in dermatology and internal medicine – the basics to keeping a furbaby happy and healthy, she thinks. When she’s not at the library or trying to sneak a cuddle with your furbaby, you’ll find her in the kitchen, attempting to cobble food together.

Dr. Yuka

Dr. Yuka

Veterinarian

Dr. Yuka Kozawa is the effervescent, ray of sunshine at My Vet with a deep empathy with anxious furbabies. After rescuing her furbaby Meeya, she has developed an interest in behavioural medicine and aims to make every consult feel as happy and safe as possible. In her spare time, you’ll find her defeating the (virtual) forces of darkness and spending quality time with her husband and their three furbabies.
