Summer Christmas Puppy Puddings

When you’re getting your towel and thongs ready, it’s time to start preparing for Christmas in true Aussie style. And seeing as how it’s going to be getting warmer, this puppy pudding is not your usual baked treat!

I am always looking at ways to may christmas treats for my little fur children and I thought with this weather it would be a nice idea to make a fun twist on my Pupsicles for a pawfect christmas treat!!

Instead, we’re going to be preparing a frozen treat for our fur babies. We call it our Summer Puppy Pudding.

Ingredients

1/2 cup of Smooth Peanut Butter

1/2 cup of Plain Yoghurt

1 Ripe Banana

about 1 tbsp of Water or unsweetened almond milk

strawberries and  green apples (for the classic christmas colors!) cut up into little cubes

Muffin Tins

Methods

Place all of your ingredients in a blender and blend until nice and smooth. leaving a few cubes of apples and strawberries left out.

Add your water a splash at a time until your mixture blends well.

Spoon the mixture into your muffin tins, and mix in the extra pieces of apple and strawberries evenly into each one.. If you’ve got them, use large and small muffin tins  and mini time for a triple tiered Christmas pudding treat (It turns out looking like a little christmas tree.) If you are a naughty mom like me you let your pup lick the spoon too!

Place your tins in the freezer and leave them in until they’re solid.

Once they’re ready, take them out of the freezer and let them thaw a little. Then pop them out of the tins, stack them up using a little extra peanut butter to stick them together and serve them to your adoring fans!

for an extra added christmas bonus you can add a little bone treat or star on top to make them look like christmas trees!

Fenway and George go NUTS for these and I sure hope your pups do too!

Have a happy happy holiday everyone!
